Mount Hood

This is one of my favorite mountains that I've been so far in North America. Granted, haven't seen all too much, but I feel like Mount Hood has some character. I love the silhouette and how the peak stands out from its surroundings. It's such a great view approaching it.

Got some Splitboard action in Mount Hood's sidecountry: skinned around the outlines of the Mount Hood Meadows resort. The avalanche forecast was a little bit sketchy, lot's of fresh snow during the week, and the more interesting trails or routes looked a little bit loaded. So better to play it safe.

I had fun in the canyons next to the resort though, and did a few laps there. Definitely want to come back and try some other terrain here too!
