Frontside carve over tiles
I started getting up to the tiles on frontside carves last week, and today I reached them pretty consistently. It all depends on how much speed I can get pumping out of the corners from the shallow end of the bowl.
The important part here is that confidence is building up to ride the pool at higher speeds and closer to the coping. In the deeper end I‘m not quite at the tiles yet, but, if I get down there with enough speed, I carve up to the vert and experience for a fragment of a second that zero gravity feeling, before completing the turn and riding down the transition again.
Every inch higher is such a tough battle.
