Going soft

A while ago I switched the bushings in my cruiser setup to after market Indy hards (the black ones). The intention was to limit speed wobbles when going faster down some of the hills around our neighborhood.

The downside of the harder bushings is obviously that the board doesn't turn as nicely any more. So much so that it felt super stiff and I no longer enjoyed riding it.

So today I swapped the bushings to the other end, and put in the Indy after market super soft (white) bushings. What a difference that makes! The cruiser now turns super easy, feels snappy and surfy, that's how I like it.

I guess I have to deal with speed wobbles, but I wouldn't wanna miss the surfy feel riding down the hills around here.

Loving that setup, perfect to cruise around:

  • Indy Standards Stage XI trucks with Indy super soft bushings
  • Indy shock pad to absorb rattling
  • OJ Mini Super Juice wheels
