Sad heelflip
When I restarted skateboarding I thought I'm going to spend some time in bowls and pools, just carving around a little bit. Low impact, not hard on any joints, little risk, and with enough padding and helmet, few consequences when you slam.
I thought I'm too old for flip tricks, that that time has passed. There's also some pain in my ankle when I bend it the wrong way. And bending the ankle is kind of a pre-requisite for flip tricks.
Then I tried a few no complys on flatground, a few pop shovits and eventually they came back.
And then a few weeks a ago I tried a heelflip. Almost landed it. So close. Board spins and it feels like it's just this little bit of timing that I need to get it right to get it back.
It's now stuck in my head. I want the heelflip back!
