DC

Arrived in DC and ventured out to the Shaw skatepark this morning, a chilly but sunny day so far. What I've discovered is that the best way to get around DC is by eBike.  It's fast and you're not as exhausted as you would be on a regular bike. Bonus: the skateboard fits perfectly on the front rack!

Shaw skatepark is nice, lots of manageable features, but I'm still battling with my toe. It's better than just a few days ago, but still not 100%. I tried a few ollies, carved the bowl a little bit, but mostly stuck to the small red curb doing slappies. Frontside slappies work fine because I don't really need my toes for it, they mostly come out of the heels.
