Back again, sort of

Lincoln Park Skate Park

Even though my toe is still not 100%, going out skating is doable, sort of. I manage to push around, pop easy ollies and slappies. For the time being I'm staying off the flat bar. Bailing still feels sketchy, and gives me instant pain in the toe. But it feels so good to be back on a board and just push around a little.

I'm working on Fakie Big Spin for now, something I can't do. It doesn't require pop and is fairly easy on my toe.

After I told a friend at the local park all the things that happened to me on that board, he also said that it looks like a bad mojo deck, and that I should switch it.

So I did.

On Sunday I setup the next Nora deck, the one with the golden Peregrine Falcon. Setup with the golden Ace trucks, it's just one giant bling piece. I like it!

Bling!

I've also put more effort into the grip tape job again. A fun rainy Sunday afternoon craft project at home.

More gold on top
