JAX beach

The other really good location here in Jacksonville is at the South Beach Park in Jacksonville Beach. It's fairly new, and I particularly love the layout, a circle shape where you just keep going and hit banks, ledges and quarters left and right.

"Inside" the circle is a super cool snake run type of thing that opens to a wider section with pool coping in the middle. The other 2 elements the circle is wrapping around are a medium bowl and a deeper pool. Really well done.

Unfortunately I wasn't feeling a 100%, my hand and big toe were still bothering me, so I basically cruised around a little bit. Barely made it up to a backside 50/50 in the snake run, and some slappie nose slides on some smallish ledges.

Still a fun morning though, glad I went out. Next time I bring helmet and pads again. Without them I'm not dropping into the bowl or pool, after all that went wrong in the last month.
