2022, it’s on

Winter season start with the first good storm here on the Ice Coast. Driving throw the snowfall was exhausting, and took much longer than expected, but it was worth it. Good to be in the snow and on a board again!

I've split the day between my good old Sims RT2 and the super playful Never Summer Funslinger. For this season I've put a different binding on the Sims: the K2 Formula has been swapped out for a Rome SDS Katana.

Oh boy, and what a difference that made!

The K2 was too narrow for my boot (Vans Infuse) and was getting really painful to ride when I was out longer. The Katana, on the other hand, you don't even notice that it's there. It feels like the board is magically attached to your feet. Great binding all around, really soft and comfortable and super surfy.

Can't wait for the next strom to hit and get out through some trees!
