South Beach Park
85F at 6AM, paired with insane humidity is no joke. It takes 20 Minutes and I'm completely soaked. Like sweat-dripping-off-my-shirt soaked.
But I still went out there every morning I could. It's a pretty good park layout, all round, and you can just keep going.
I like the steeper banks, although it took a while to get used to them, getting on and off is just so abrupt. My favorite part is the snakerun though. I still remember when I had troubles pumping through the whole thing from one end to the other.
Not anymore :)
This time I could include a 50/50 in the snakerun in a line, coming in over the noping quarter in the picture. I watched a kid floating over this. That would've been my goal, just flying out and back into the run. But I couldn't muster up enough speed for the fly-out.
Boardslides came back, after some cheering from a local. And there's that tiny wall that you can boardslide. But I was too scared. One side is deeper than the other, and bailing didn't feel great on it.
The early morning locals are a friendly small crowd, all different skills and styles. Had a good time there!
