Pre Work Session

Got out early this morning. According to the forecast, it's not until the end of next week until we see any swell again in Nahant Beach.

And I wanted to try out the new 5mm wetsuit.

It was gorgeous, although only with really small half Meter waves.

I got 3mm gloves too. Despite the 5mm wetsuit adding to my warmth and comfort in the water, the gloves make a big difference. No cold hands, and they turboboost your paddling. Noticed a major difference in paddle speed.

I caught a few waves, one is memorable, a really nice long ride on an unbroken wave. Made a contious decision to turn left on it, well, as good as I could turn, but it was better than just going straight to the beach.

A few times my nose got caught, but with the small waves, I managed to pull back, get the board out of the wave and paddle back out again.

It was a good morning, and great to be in the water!
