We lucked out for another day this week and got a solid amount of fresh snow last night and today.

Not really sure how the drive was going to be through the ongoing snow storm, I got up super early this morning and headed out to Wachusett Mountain. I was debating of going further up north for a splitboard tour, but then decided to stay local. The drive up there, would've taken too long. And then there's the risk of getting stuck in that last mile on that tiny dirt road leading to the trailhead.

Anyways, got up early, drive was OK, and arrived early enough at the mountain to skin up and get one pristine, almost untracked run in.

After that, it was pretty fantastic, even the trees were filled in. I didn't know until this week that there are tree runs in Wachusett. So that was a first for me!
