94a
Ace trucks came out with aftermarket harder 94a bushings for their AF1 and Classic trucks. Me and my eternal wheelbite problem, also my no-risers mentality, got them as soon as they hit the stores.
I put them in last night and tried them out first thing this morning. They feel harder, I need to lean in more to turn, it just takes a little bit longer and is more effort to initiate a turn, but I still get the same nice sharp turn Aces are known for. No change in truck geometry, yay!
And, most importantly: less wheelbite. Significantly less wheelbite. The marks in the photo show my wheelbite situation with stock bushings.
Maybe it's just because it was the first session and they will soften up when they're fully broken in, but so far I'm pretty happy with them. I'm curious how they feel in a bowl, but my guess is, it's going to be OK. I just need to lean in a little more, and push harder into a carve.
