Came back from Austria with a new deck. That wasn’t planned. I left my old setup in Austria, didn’t want to haul it back. Also, I was more than ready to finally try these trucks I got almost 2 years ago, and to switch back to Spitfire 93s.
So, the deck was a surprise gift. A custom made graphic with my name on it. Super nice shape, 8.5 wide, really roomy large nose. I like it.
The new Lurpiv trucks are pretty cool too. Higher than my good old Ace’s, and I think I notice a steeper angle on front crooks. They have a real quick and sharp turn, with very little wheelbite. I like it!
The Spitfire 93 56mm are probably my favorite wheels. I should just stick to them. Great ride and controlled slide.
I’m actually surprised by how well these cheap Mosaic bearings roll. Didn’t see that coming. They’re just standard ABEC7 steel bearings, but super smooth, I have to say.
All in all, I’m very pleased with my new setup. It’s broken in now, took a little while for that thick paint layer to wear off on nose and board slides.
Here’s a little clip, slappy grind at the curb with my homies.
